Pablo Picasso is one of the most famous artists of the 20th century in the world. Picasso's various achievements in the history of art have had a great influence even in the present age when the century has changed, and his name of "the best artist of the 20th century" lasts. This work is a colorful depiction of "Dove of Peace " which is a special motif for the master Picasso. Picasso has been surrounded by pigeons since he was a child and kept pigeons in his atelier. The pigeon was so special to Picasso that he even named his beloved daughter Paloma (Spanish for pigeon).
This motif, now so famous, was first drawn as a promotional poster for the International Peace Conference in Paris in 1949. The poster quickly spread to the world, and the pigeon became a symbol of peace among the people of the world. Also note that the dove and the olive branch in its mouth have a Christian background of the Bible's "Noah's Ark." The dove drawn by Picasso is still flying around the world as a symbol of peace.
